What kind of shocks do I need for a 2" level?
I am not sure on the 4x2s, but I know the '02-'05 torsion front 4x4s need right at 2.25" to sit level and need shocks IF DOING ANY OFF-ROADING. Some get by fine with the stock shocks as long as they don't do the pothole or speed bump thing too fast, LOL...
well i got my home tax credit, its time to spend a small amount on my truck, lol. you've probably seen me babbling about leveling my truck. either saturday or sunday i wanna have the parts here to bring to the auto hobby shop to put on my truck finally. i want it to be completely leveled out. what should i buy? its a 4x2
im looking at http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/PLCDGU2.htmlbut it even says new shocks are recommended for a 2" level. I dont know what to even start to look at for that!!!! help please
It'll keep it even, I've got a 2" on mine and it is still a bit nose-down. As for shocks, I kept the stock ones and the car still rides the same. But no worry that youll be higher in the front than the back, thats only if you raise the front like 4-5" more than the back.
