I have a 2007 1500 Hemi Regular cab SLT with the tow package.

Well I had it at the Drag Straip and when I washed it today I only had track rubber in the back passinger wheel well, what's up with that.

I thought that the tow package included Posi?

 

Tow package does not include posi-- my 07 1500 Bighorn has full tow package, 3.92 gears, 20 inch wheels... but no LSD (posi)! Although I am disappointed some that I don't have the trak lock rear end, from my own experiences factory LSD's are junk.. I just had my Durango's read end (9.25 stock LSD) rebuild with a BRAND NEW Mopar carrier about 20k miles ago- and its locking up going around corners already. With my "new" 2007 1500 Ram, I am considering having an Auburn LSD installed.. aftermarket LSD's are known to be much better build.

Correct. Posi is additional and not included in the tow package. My sticker shows that i payed $325 for the piece of crap known to explode LSD.

I would feel relieved that you dont have it.

Agreed. A lot of guys have issues with the stock LSD but I think the newer ones like 07 and such were cleared from those CPRCs breaking. I never had any major issues from mine except for the clips breaking. I call that minor until they get caught in the gears and cause bigger damage.
