Need to know tranny fluid amount of ATF+4 I need to buy to refill my 04 ram 4x4 with a 5 speed auto tranny.
How do I know if I have the O-haul option?
I do have the button on the column shifter, but it doesn't say tow/haul.
Is that O-haul option?

The button the end of the shifter is Tow/Haul. All trucks have them now. As for the pan change, 6-7 qrts. But if you want to change the entire trans then 17.

I do suggest buying all new trans bolts and be careful when putting them in. Replace them so the heads do snap off and be careful when locking them down so you dont strip the trans threads

Also look into adding in a trans pan drain bolt while you have it out and down.

 

I suspect his button is O/D off for an '04. My drop 'n' drain took seven quarts. Don't forget the filters. The spin-on is the same for 4x4 and 4x2, but the flat filter is different. And be careful with the pan bolts.
