hey guys once again. i installed magnaflow y pipe magnaflow muffler si/so,cai,powerwire,180stat exhaust when cruising on highway sounds like theres a heli underwater. im just wondering if its normal cause truck has power runs fine.

 

That is because of the cylinder dropout. Go read the 3rd Gen Ram FAQ section where it talks about issues with the Ram.

Cylinder dropout???? I think you mean MDS.. Only the 5.7L HEMI comes with it.. He has a 4.7 and it doesn't come with MDS

 

Maybe it is just his type muffler then, unless he has some exhaust leaks

 

I would lean towards the exhaust leaks. there are plenty of guys here that have magnaflow, and the only ones to have complaints similar to this are those that have MDS.

OP how does your exhaust end? is it dumped, out the side, out the back?

out threw the back like factory. but ill go today and see if it has any leaks. Ill keep in touch with u guys thanks a lot.

 

I will be investing some money in this truck. Like a tuner, leveling ,headers, sonnax, gears 4.56 or 4.10s don't know yet, e-fan, injectors so with your help and nick from air ram we will put some horses under this trucks hood. I'm just worried about my extended warranty.The truck is a 2008 with 38,000 miles. Money is not an issue.
