You're looking for the bolt? I didn't find anything online for it either. Parts guy said its a grade 8, with some sort of coating. (probably designed to keep it from seizing )

Man, I wish that was funny.

Yes, I am looking for the bolt.
I am going to have to sawzall the bolt out.

This weekend I had the strut disconnected from the 'tower', the control arm dropped and every thing just hanging.
I threaded the nut on there till it was flush with the bolt.
Then I took and axe, yes I said axe, and swung hard with the back side at the bolt/nut.

That bolt is still in there.

I'm in the same boat as you, my LOWER STRUT MOUNT bolt is seized in place. In addition, one of my LOWER CONTROL ARM bolts is seized.

Originally I was looking for the LOWER STRUT MOUNT bushing, but I've learn't that it does not exist. Now I have to get the LOWER STRUT MOUNT bolt out, without buggering the bushing.

I'm about 1/2 way through 'sawzalling' through the LOWER CONTROL ARM bolt. Then I'll make a jig to press out the LOWER STRUT MOUNT bolt (after I cut the head off).

New LOWER CONTROL ARM bolts will be here tomorrow at $30 a piece.

@ barksatbirds, dealer had the LOWER STRUT MOUNT bolt the next day for me. Are you doing a leveling kit as well? I would suggest you free-up your LOWER CONTROL ARM bolts as well, they need to be free to get a proper alignment.

I'm not leveling, I'm replacing the front struts.
The Rancho 5000's I bought come with replacement lower strut mount bushings.

I just need to get those bolts out/replaced.
I was hoping to not have to go to a dealership, but I guess you got to do what you got to do.

yeah, I tried heating them too.

I've got the driver side re-assembled. Dad punched one of the lower control arm bolts out with the air-hammer, the other one was free. Once the control arm and strut assembly was out on the floor we punched the strut bolt out with the air hammer again.

The passenger side was even more of a bitch. We were able to get the strut bolt off with the control arm still on the truck. To get the control arm bolts out we had to cut the head/adjuster cam off with a torch to get room, to get the sawz-all in on both side of the frame. Now we've got to rig up the press to press what's left of the bolts out of the bushings, and then re-assemble.
