Any info would help !!!
I'm new to this site, just signed in. Getting ram 1500 slt on friday. I want to do the "pimp my ride " so to speak to it . I want to get one of the covers for the back ( tonneu or something). But I also want to get a little wing on the back. Can I get the cover and the wing or will they just get in the way of each other.
Welcome to DF and congrats on your new truck. What style and features did you/are you getting?
Personally, I don't like the wings in the back, but if you get a hard tonneau you can always bolt the wing to the top. Incase you didn't know, wings are to add downpressure on the vehicle at speed....speeds at which I probably wont be driving anyhow. If I do need the extra downforce a couple bags of Quickrete wil work just nicely.
As a side benefit, those with the solid tonneau typically have a higher highway mileage and better wet traction/smoother ride from the added weight over the rear.

"looks" kinda guy lol. I like the wing and the cover for there LOOKS lol. I got a 1500 slt 20 inch tires deep molten red with the silver bottom. I dont even know if i can find a wing in that color. gonna gave to match it myself I guess.

A soft tonneau will work with a wing if you don't mind chopping on the tonneau and fitting it yourself. Of course you'd have to stitch the edges so that it doesn't tear and add appropriate hardware to secure the tonneau if necessary.
The molten red/silver looks good together. I'm guessing you are going with a black colored tonneau and molten wing?

HA HA HA. The owner of that truck must have had a Pep Boys credit card he was looking to max out!!!!!!!
I think the wing doesnt look too bad, if you get one like on the daytona. Nothing is worse than someone putting a hard toneau on their truck and they bolt a wing for a Civic on it, or better yet one of those stainless wings. I have seen one truck here in Augusta that is similar to that red one in the pic above, it was white and didnt have the rig "stacks" but it had all the bolt on fiberglass pieces on a dually. I guess past 55 your senses go when it comes to good taste......j/k.

One of the fiberglass tonneaus has a small lip cast into it at the end. Certainly not a wing, but perhaps a little functional.
Sorry I cannot remember which company (may be more than one) since I've looked at so many on the Web.
All the best with your new truck!
