03 issues please help
i have owned my 03 dodge 1500 for 6 months now and a few weeks after purchase check engine light came own went to auto store had them tell me it was either gas vac. line or cap replaced cap and had them clear code cap was defective would not seal, then replaced cap again seals, but check engine light is still on do i have to clear code again or should it atomaticly shut off.
but now my radiator does not hold fluid more then a week or two before have to top off. found sand like sub. in over flow, what could it be?
also my steering is giving me a growlish hum when turn also some vibration. when i left a few days ago found a oily sub. or driveway what could it be please help.
my right rear break light keeps going out replace bulb 3 times plastic is melted around contacts on bulb could wrong fuse be installed and it is just getting two hot or is the tail light assembly bad?
can any of these be a easy fix for a none michanical person or should i take it in to nearest dodge dealership

Check your evap system for split hoses, broken or cracked evap housing and replace the gas cap.
Flush the radiator and replace the cap. The grit is not normal.
Keep the power steering topped off and look for leaks.
Remove the brake light bulb and clean the electrical socket and apply dielectric grease and re-install bulb.
