I forgot to mark my positions when I took my struts out. Which way is the strut tower supposed to face? Is the thickest part(where the spring ends) supposed to face into the engine or out?

 

don't really think it matters to mark. when i installed the leveling shocks i didn't mark mine. just have to twist the bottom the the shock so it will line up. springs have enough pressure on them the shock will rotate inside. if im understanding what your saying.

 

by lining up, you mean the lower bolt to LCA? ...

 

yeah, put the lower mount on. then the upper with the pointy part facing away from the engin. bolt the top part up first, then deal with the bottom of the strut to the LCA
