I had 285/70/R17's on my 2500 with no problems. Minor rubbing with my 315/70/R17's.

285's look tiny!

It's the same truck just different wheels, I don't care what the 17 came stock with. The TRUCK fits 33s from the factory

I'm getting rid of my 285's and going with 315's later this month.
i didnt think you could do that with a 2007 1500 2wd

Does it also depend on model? I mean is there a difference between 1500 and 2500?

And? Will 33x12.5 rub on 1500 but won't on 2500?

Umm the rubbing is more related to rim than model. You have to know a backspacing and offset to figure out the clearance

i have an 06 2wd with the factory 20's 275/60 goodyears on them. i have plenty of room and definitely no rubbing. heck i think i have room to go 275/65 without rubbing as well. my suspension is all stock. i do have the lonestar edition 1500 so i don't know if that matters to other available models. i also have the 3.92 gears and not sure if that matters either

thats what I was talking about in this (or another) thread. The trucks are built to fit a 33in tall tire, period.
