p0442-evap emmisions somethin somethin

usually caused by lose gas cap.could anything else cause this problem?

Yes. Check the lines to and from your charcoal filter. That was the problem on my '01. It is about mid way between the wheels on the passenger side of the frame on the '01. Should be about the same place on yours. Check the lines for cracks where they connect to the filter.

exactly what Rebel ram said i have an apiontment this weekend to have a hose replaced on mine for the same problem, it's under warantyno charge, SWEEEEEEEEEEET!!!

i checked 2 hoses connected to the fill tube that run back to the tank.no leaks.still connected.i also got P0455 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak) .
any suggestions on this?i have about 48110 miles
