electical switches or can-bus system?
While driving my 06 Ram during rush hour my radio shut off, came back on a few seconds later. Then my drivers side airbag light came on then shut off about 20 secs later this happen about 3 times. Next the stereo shut off then turned back on about 6 times in 10 to 15 sec intervals the last for 5 min. Shut the truck off went to restart. The truck would not start (acted like low battery) turned ignition off again and retryed, started with no problems. Radio and airbag went on and off a few more miles down the road then stopped. When I got home I let it idle in the driveway while i unloaded my gear from the bed, all light were turned off. I noticed the headlights flashing on and off, shut the truck off and restarted no problem let it run the headlight started flashing again. Any ideas?

Sounds like a TIPM fault type issue? You could have a short in one of your Can B or Can C lines, but chances of that are much slimmer than a computer chip going. Just sounds so much like an IC chip failure. I hope for your sake it isn't because a new TIPM for a 2006 is a pretty penny. Like $600 or so. It's double what they get for the '08's..why? I haven't a clue as they are really the same truck with the same programming.
Your best bet is to have someone hook up a scanner tool to it. You need a live diagnostics in depth scanner, not a cheapo Autozone scanner. Either a $5,000 Snap-on type tool or a dealer Starscan tool. Those can run wire diagnostics for main multiplex wires that are causing you issue's.
ohh yeah, TIPM= Totally Integrated Power Module. It's a fancy fuse box next to your battery. Notice that there are no onboard relays?? This is because the TIPM is a computer that has IC chipped relays. if you go to the dealer, it's reffered to as the tippem. It's pronounced like that. it's not spelled out each letter. just cramm'em all together...lol
