Default Power door locks wiring colors? which is it?

I have a 2006 Quad cab Ram. Im installing a power tailgate lock and up to wiring it into the power door lock wiring. Anybody know which color wires these are and if anybody knew of an install link or something. Thanks if you can help.

IDK exactly without looking in the wiring diagrams but you can download the service manual from the links in my signature and look at them. It should be too hard. Are you wiring a relay(s) with that setup?

the kit did not come with a relay or anything and didn't mention using one in the install. said to just wire it into the power door lock wires but i think they have the wrong color listed. my directions says 2002-2008 models so if the coloring of the wires changed at all then the directions could be wrong. i located 1 install online and the person just spliced them into existing wires and it worked. would i need a relay you think? never really messed with wiring so was hoping this wouldn't be a big deal. i'll check your links tho and thanks.

If it didnt come with a relay or said to get one then I wouldnt bother. The lock must not have a big enough draw or load to need one

Do the instructions specify which of the 4 lock motors they are talking about? Maybe the color they have is from one of the other lock motors.

the wires:

driver motor DB & TN/PK
pass motor TN/WT & TN/VT
rt-rr motor TN/PK & TN/OR
lft-rr motor TN/OR & TN/PK

DB dark blue
TN tan
PK pink
OR orange
VT violet
WT white

check that! ignore the above... that is from an '03, you have an '06

for the '06:
driver motor TN/LG & LG
pass motor VT/LB & LG/DB
rt-rr motor LG & TN/OR
lft-rr motor TN/OR & LG

DB dark blue
LB light blue
TN tan
PK pink
OR orange
VT violet
WT white
LG light green

I need to stay away from energized equipment today....

thanks for the help. got it working now. i just spliced into the wiring between driver front and rear doors. just pulled back the plastic covering from the bottom along seatbelt column. it was the tan/orange and the lime green wires for what i needed. works great now. since i have a top mounted tonneau cover, this allows me to have tailgate locked now as i have the tonneau which allows you to open/close tailgate with it locked. since i have 3 lil ones we like to keep our strollers and crap back there. not bad for an ebay kit for about 40 bux.
