Default Blower motor intermittent

My blower motor in my 2006 1500 Ram works some time and some time it doesn't. I have pulled the dash twice (replaced the heater core), checked all connections, replaced the resistor and it still wont work all the time. It stays off for hours and then comes back on. Has anyone else had this problem and found the cure?

jonkiny,

Ongoing issues can certainly be frustrating, especially when you've made a few repair attempts already.
Maybe it's time to try out the service from your local Ram dealer.
All the best!

I cant find any alternative. I'm about due for an oil change anyway. I'll have to take it in to the dealer.

Not really, I'm going to see if there is voltage to the fan switch. Then to the resistor. Then I may just shoot myself.

Found the problem. It was the blower motor. Something internal, beat on it and it works, hit it again and it doesn't work. Replaced the motor. All is fine.
