i just straight axled my 06 dodge 1500 and im running 42in tires the truck will mainly be on street im trying to decide between 456 or 488 gears i ran the stock gears on 37 for a year and had no problems i need yalls opinion. And ill post pics of the progress as soon as i find out how to

 

A 3rd Gen 1500 with a SFA, gotta see that! What axle did you use? Cause it will have a lot to do with if you can even get 4.88s for it or not...

I see no pics but with 42s i would run 488s. But before I did that I would look at some online gear/rpm/mpg calculators
