Dodge ram air power problems
Dont really know how to explain title.. sorry, but here we go, I have a 2006 dodge ram, 4.7 under 54000 miles. Truck runs great. I am having one problem with it, and was wondering if anyone has the same problem as i. My problem is that air does not blow hard.. Even thro you can hear the fan blowing when you turn it up to the max. This is for ac and heat doesnt matter. The air coming out to the vents are barley to none and I cant figure it out, but the fan or blower is blowing right. Its for the front vents the top vents and feet vents. Doesnt matter if you have it on recycle or out side air. Someone help please. Thanks
Sounds like one of the directional doors is open. Do a search for blend doors here on the board and see if that helps. Also check these two threads.

Yea man, my 06 RAM did the same thing, low air flow coming out the vents but mine when you turned the air on full blast the fan was real loud, evidently there is an issue with the blend door like the post above says, mine was still under warranty and they replaced / fixed it. Supposedly common on this year model.
Alright cool thanks man. Just got the wife a new murano. So this will be my summer job. Also put in some fog lights and maybe electric back window (yeah I know it's a little pricy. O well). Thanks guys help a lot. I'll keep you posted.
