Even though you have no lamp out light yet, doesn't mean the ecu doesn't recognize what is going on. You will currently have "active codes" that are running and will programmed and stored in the ecu. The Tipm may or may noth shut that circuit down eventually. It hasn't happened yet on my truck but I have capacitors in my garage waiting for school to be done so I can solder them up and install them.
Once the circuit gets internally turned off, you will need a new tipm. I suggest plugging them back in and installing caps on each of the high and low beams on both sides. This will stop the running active codes from continuing their active cylce they will be stored permanently in the ecu as prior active codes. Inactive ends their cycle and the issue is resolved.

I have "lamp out" capacitors and a relay that powers the lights off the battery. I was just curious why I had no lamp out because my 05 would throw a code right away.
