Blender door - Can I shut it for winter?

My blender door isn't working right, it's letting in cold air (recirc vent) can I pull of the glovebox, and just get the door shut for the winter? I can fix it properly later but if I can get by for awhile I will

Can you get at the hinge at all. it's prolly just stuck. But I really haven't seen one. just speculating.

Ive read of guys rigging them with cords and other such materials to manipulate them as needed so as long as you can get to it, I dont see why not
