08 hemi cam?
hey i have a 08 1500 4x4 laramie hemi, and was wondering about getting a cam, what can i expect from one? like h/p and torque gains. and what is the best one to buy? thanks

Depends on the cam and other components you use like headers, intake, tuning, ect.
You will lose the MDS if you go too big of a cam. Either way I would feel safe to say you are talking at well over 1k+ in total investment.
Your talking a cam, tuner (and possibly custom tunes), oil, springs, coolant, ATF+4, push rods, crank/cam bolts and whatever else I may be forgetting.
Who will do the install? Thats more money unless you are going to do it. I would call Stu at Inertia Performance and talk to him or Art at Henson Motorsports to order parts
Ive got a custom tool to change the valve springs if you need it. I will sell it cheap.
That keeps you from pulling the heads because pulling them means another 100+ in head gaskets and head bolts and possible broken exhaust bolts which are common
