Default found a mopar remote start unit under the dash

So i saw 2 transmitter things on my windshield and went to go investigate. Under the dash there is a mopar remote start unit. If i buy a FOB can i reprogram it myself? called the dealer and they want like 120 to reprogram it and 60 for the FOB plus I need the second key which I don't have either. Any ideas. Part number on the unit is 05140464AA

Yes you can no Key needed either.

Fob p/n is 05140472AA Transmitter with labels Service Kit

From the manual found here

1. Transmitter Programming.
A. Make sure battery is connected.
B. Close hood.
C. Turn the ignition to the “on” position.
D. Press and hold the programming button (should be on the

harness leading to the OBD connector).
After 10 seconds the horn will chirp and the lights will flash
3 times indicating the system is now in transmitter learn mode.

Note: If horn does not sound when the lights

flash (or sounds inconsistently) turn “off” option 7 in option bank #1.
See section “2. Option Programming”.

E. Release the programming button.
F. Press button on transmitter to be programmed.

The horn will chirp and the

lights will flash 1 time indicating that the transmitter has been learned.

G. Repeat step F for additional transmitters.

Default Fob

So with the reprogram can I use any fob? Like if I was to get a new one from AutoZone that is a 4 button. In theory that could work right?

Try hitting your LOCK button on the FOB a couple times REALLY fast. Remote start might actually still work.
