05 1500 4x4. just this morning it wouldnt shift out of park, kinda felt like you didn't have your foot on the brake. After fiddeling with it a while it finially shifted out of park. It has done this twice today. want to fix this before I've got a real problem, like miles from nowhere. Thanks for any help anybody can give me.

 

Mine did the same thing today. I pulled on it and it broke the cable right at the column. So now I need a new shifter cable. I think it might be a bad switch not letting didengage.
