2003 ram 1500 ABS and Brake light are on
I looking to the forums for some help with an issue. I have a 2003 ram 1500 5.7l 2wd. The abs and brake light are on, also the speedo bounces when going from 1 - 10 mph. once you get over 10 mph it starts working fine.
I have searched and read just about every thread I could find. I have replaced the rear diff speed sensor already with a mopar part.
I put an ABS code scanner on it and recieved the following code:
Cxxxx LF sensor circuit failure.
Thinking through it I replaced the left front ABS wheel speed sensor, no luck. The lights are still on. I did clear the ABS codes by the way and the return almost instantly.
What else can I check before sending the truck to the dealer?

Took the truck to the dealership today. the issue was with the rear diff vechile sensor wiring harness. 150.00 later I was out the door and the lights were off.
The only thing I can think of that would cause is because i submerge the rear axle when lauching the boat, the wires may have gotten wet. its the only thing I can think of that would cause this.
anyway just an FYI for other people.

Thanks for the update. Good to see people givve us the result even when we dont respond to the OP. As far as submerging goes... It is possible that over time it may start to corrode, but for once or twice a year i couldnt see that causing a problem.
Same thing happened to me about 3 years ago, Moisture got into an electrical conector for the front ABS. $45 for the diagnostic and new conector. Guess I got lucky on that one. Funny thing was that when I touched the brakes the Spedo would max out! The only time that 4.7 will do that!
