First off. Anytime you use OD off, you use 2nd prime gear. i found this out through the Hemi chat session. Although it seems backwards, that's precisely what they told me. Sounds like you downshifted into 2nd prime.

Regardless of all that useles info...I'd check out your solonoid packs as they could be of culprit.
When is the last time you serviced your tranny?

Also, your p0172 is a bank 1 rich condition. Seperate problem from your trans issue.
P0700 just means there are tranny codes and the other 2 are improper gear ratio codes.

I wonder if your O/D off button hasn't failed?? The OD off disables 4th and 5th gear which your codes are of....

Solonoid packs would cause some of those troubles. Also, having no OD could mean your shifter selector could have a short.
Can you answer the question in bold?

Well, that's just the bulk of the kit that includes physical parts. Doesn't include a valvbody that would need to be torn down inspected and cleaned or other electronics like solonoid's..etc

Sure you could buy the kit, but I don't think you'll be able to install it without the proper tools. There's a ton of them to rebuild transmissions.
Plus, if you haven't had a transmission service yet, why not put $140 plus your time into a service and rule out that possibility. Sure beats doing a complete overhaul if it isn't needed.
You know, the fluid needs to have a specific shear and viscosity to it. if it's old or burnt then it'll lose those proerties and cause all kinds of bad stuff.

cause it would happen over time if it was fluid causing it, it happened all at once and hasnt stopped since so i dont need to was 140 on a service when i may be rebuilding it. just trying to figure out if it was a simple solienoid or clutches bad

There is a guy on HTC that rebuilt his 545rfe and posted pics and everything about it. Here is the link to it. The pics are no longer hosted but Im pretty sure I saved them a while back. I can send them or host them if you want and you can always contact him too

Well, you asked for opinions and seem to be quick at turning them down so do what you wish.
Fluid most certainly can cause instant breakdown. It's the build up of crud over time that can break free and get lodged in a tiny orifice and cause problems instantly, not necessarily the fluid itself causing the problem directly.
I think going rebuild is a waste if the solution is much simpler.
You need to exhaust the possibilities before doing a full rebuild, so don't be so quick to shut down opinions.
If you do the rebuild and it does the same thing then what?
You do have other parts such as planetary gears, sun gears, bearings valvebody that may need to be done ontop of that clutch kit your looking at.
