Default Heated seat, ESP and Rear window lights stopped working

Guys,

I noticed that a heated seat switch back light was out on my 2008 (not the hi/lo but the back light).

So I pulled the dash out to look for a bulb which it looks to be inside the switch. I threw everything back together and hooked backup the wires on the 4 switches (R/L heated, ESP and rear window). Turned on the headlights and now all of the switches have no back lights but they are all still operational.

Is there something in the computer that is turning off the power to these circuits if they become disconnected?

Would reseting the computer fix this (if so, can this be done w/out the dealer? Is it simply pulling a fuse)?

Brian =)

Have you checked all of your fuses? Maybe try downloading the service manual and go through the electrical schematics to trace those wires and circuits
