the reason why they want you to do all the changes at 30K is for warrenty purposes. Do them yourself and keep records of when it was done and what fluids you used, that way if it is ever an issue you have it in writing.
Warranty is enough of a reason for me, now that you mention it. I'll take a look at the fluid color the next time I have it near a lift.
As for the plugs, I'll have to change them out with I get some free time over the weekend. I thought it was a bit strange with the number the guy gave me, he actually said 20 plugs, I just assumed he meant 24 (3x8) which I thought was still a bit much.. Guessing that's why he sells parts instead of installing them though.

I'm asking, about changing differential fluids. I've never done it myself. When I pull off the cover I just let it all drain out there and then replace the cover, right?
When I replace the cover do I need to apply some type of sealant?
