Default Shock Issue...

Hey guys,

Recently I just installed new shocks all the way around. Installation went great, and it was pretty quick. Except for one issue. My passenger rear shock has an issue. When I bought the shocks brand new, I checked to ensure that they were in good condition and worked. The shock that was installed on the passenger rear was straight and had no issues. However, when I installed the shock, for some reason it seems to be out of line and the top sleeve is rubbing on the centre shaft of the shock when the shock moves up and down, kind of like it is cockeyed.

When you look at it from the tire well, you can see that the shock is rubbing on the side facing the ground. This is wearing away the paint and I'm worried it is going to damage the shock. When I installed it I did notice this issue, so I pulled the shock and tried reinstalling it with the other side facing down, but still have the same issue.

Would this mean that my truck needs an alignment? It is pulling a bit to the left, but nothing major. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
