Default Tranny Problems???

OK i have a 2003 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 its got a 5.9 360 in it.
The transmission wont shift until i let off the gas does anyone know how to fix this or what can be done?????????

Even though you technically have a 3rd Gen, your engine and transmission are common in all years of the 2nd Gen trucks. You may want to post over in that section as well, you should get a lot more and hopefully better answers there...

Default trans possible fix

depending on when your transmission was made the filter seals can leak causing it not to accelerate even when you hit the gas. i recommend changing both filters in the transmission. it solved my problem

In the general discussion on the second gen page there is a post from Monte C " transmission corner" take a look through that to start. As stated above i would do a fluid filter and gov pressure solenoid change on the tranny, take a look to see if the bands need tightening as well.
