Default clutch is clicking

hey y'all, I have a 2003 ram 1500 3.7l 5speed. This morning it started to make a loud clicking or knocking sound when i push in the clutch pedal (engage or disengage?) anyway it only happens when the truck is not moving and sitting on a hill (warmed up) or when i first start up the truck. All the gears engage fine, the truck drives like it always has, and red lights or down shifting after slowing down there is no noise. Maybe i am low on fluid? (is there fluid in the fly wheels or anything i can check?) The truck just rolled 100 000 miles yesterday. Just wanted to see what y'all thought about it. I appreciate any response and y'alls time.

You sure its when you're on the pedal.... and not off of it? Sounds like release bearing or throwout bearing... i always get the two mixed up.... Basically if your gonna do one you might as well do the entire clutch (labor is the same if you're paying for it).... But, if it doesnt bother you that much.... Let it goooo until it gives up completely and leaves you stranded somewhere.

Yeah when i push the clutch down the noise starts. When i let the clutch out, in gear or not, the noise stops. Its rhythmic with the motor (i assume its the drive shaft that is driving that noise). Today it only happened from a dead stop in first.
