Default Hemi hesitation upon acceleration & stalling

New to the site and looking for some insight to my problem! My 2006 Dodge Ram Hemi has hesitation upon acceleration and sometimes stalls when I come to a stop. It started last summer and I replaced the ERG valve and seemed to fix it until now. It sat in my heated garage for about a week over Christmas and when I went to start driving it is when the problems started again. It idols fine and drives fine, it stalls when I back out of the garage and switch to drive or come to stop randomly . It also hesitates when I go from a stop and runs fine after about 1500 rpm?
I put the old ERG valve in yesterday and reset the computer by disconnecting the – battery cable. No better so put the new ERG back in and replaced the air cleaner after noticing it could use a new one, still acting up today. Any help would be appreciated!

When is the last time you thoroughly cleaned the throttle body?

I haven’t cleaned the throttle body yet; it only has 64k on it and didn’t think that would be the issue. How would I go about that? I did that on a 98 ram I had and that fixed a stalling issue but much different set up than the Hemi! Is the intake considered the black plastic box on top of the engine that says “Hemi” where the air cleaner box tube connects?

Yep, do a search, there are probably a hundred threads and a few DIYs. At 64k miles the thing has got to be a gummed up mess, especially the back plate. Very likely your entire issue right there. I clean mine every 15k miles and the back is pretty brown and sticky.
Recommended every 30k, by the way...

We just did a cam swap in an 03 2500 over the weekend and at 120k on it the odometer and intake were spotless. The owner says he does Seafoam regularly and swears by it.

Did the owner seem to think it made much difference? How about the bottom end torque?
