Are you having issues with your current drive shaft? I haven't heard of anyone needing anything over stock. do you have some major power adders that your concerned about? 4.56's alone are no reason to need an additional strength drive shaft(s)

Whats wrong with your current drive shaft. Lots of us have 456s or 488s and the OEM shaft.

Your stock driveshaft is perfectly capable of supporting gears.
Any aftermarket driveshaft is a huge expense and a waste unless the stock shaft just isn't holding up.
I would save your coin and use if for your gear install. I assume you have 2wd and are just having the rear axle done? The cost is still a few hundred$.

I wouldn't be so sure, if he's an '04 4x2 then he's got the aluminum driveshaft, like the one Hemiyellow blew up on the highway and a few others on here and other forums.

I wouldn't say he needs to run right out and buy a driveshaft to do the gears, but I wouldn't have a false sense of security that he'd never have his driveshaft implode, either...

Default this is for everyone.

Think my drive shaft is out of balance and its missing a weight. If you know about my rear end issues I'm just trying to fix everything.
