Default Tire fitment on a 2008 2WD

Before anyone yells at me I looked in FAQ section and didn't find an answer to this one. I had 295/50-20's on my 2004 Ram Quad Cab. They fit fine. My 2008 is ready for new tires (Again) and I'd like to go with 305/50-20's. My concern is I read on one of the boards that on the 2007-08 Rams any tires larger than stock will have clearance issues with components of the front suspension. I don't recall what specific component it was.

Question: Has anyone run 305/50-20 on a 08 with factory wheels and did you have clearance issues?

Thanks in advance!

I know that 4wd 06+ have a diff UCA design and shape. Much different and have less clearance than 05-prior years.
11.5" is max IMO, 12" wide with stock wheels and you'd want spacers.
Use a pair of 3/8" spacers and you'll be fine. Otherwises you will rub on the UCA BJ on flex or turning, if not all the time? My OEM sized Coopers have about 3/8" clearance before it touches the UCA where the balljoint is. 11.5" is the widest I would go on stock wheels before you need spacers. Otherwise you will rub on the inside sidewall of the tire. Tire size limits turing as well.
305/50/20 is a 32"tall 12" wide tire.
There was a guy trying to sell a new pair of LTZ's in that size a few months ago??

As for 06+ 2wd?.lol
LOOK HERE?

I've read 305/50-20 and 305/55-20 will work. I also read 285/65-20 will work.

Don't know from experience that's just what I've read. I gave 3" lift spindles ..plan on getting the 285/65-20 have stock size 20's don't want to use spacers.
