Default washer fluid level sensor

Hey guys just wondering on my truck (in sig) the last few days it has come up and said low wash when the reservoir is actually topped up. It's only happened twice and seems to probably be because of the obnoxious cold. I'm assuming that if anything is wrong it's going to be a bad sensor. Anyone else ever have this problem? I called the dealer and they say the part is 3.50$?? that seems suspiciously cheap to me..

Almost sounds too cheap to be true.....LOL

There was another thread on this just a few days ago about the same thing and it being cold and maybe freezing or slushing in the reservoir

hmm.. you using the orange rainx stuff? Because that's what I'm using and it's only happened twice on some hellish cold days... I looked online and yea that 3 dollar price seems to be legit.. I might just replace the sensor but you may be on to something with the rainx fluid... If that's the case i'll live with it because I love the stuff
