I am replacing the rack and pinion this weekend and need to know the size of the nut and bolt holding the rack on. I only have up to a 22mm socket in my set and know that is to small. I want to have all tools needed on hand before I start the job. Thanks

 

I have been searching and found many different answers. I would like to hear from someone on this site because I have to buy the socket I need. I dont want to buy a set. Thanks

You can buy a set and take it back or use a dial caliper to find out the size. Thats all I can think of. Being Ive never taken mine down thats all i got
