Ok I have a 06 2500 4x4 auto, that has just started to make a fairly loud clunk when putting into park, it is not a u-joint. run amsoil in the tranny and change it every 30,000 miles, it has about 20,000 miles since changed last
any idea on what the clunk is??
it shifts fine, and seems solid every where else, but this noise makes me know something ain't right
thoughts opinions welcome

 

Kinda normal as bad as it sounds. Mine will do it from time to time. I did a thread on this a long time ago and it seems a lot of guys trucks do this also

 

it has been way below freezing when it started too, so i figured that maybe that was the issue, but also wondered if other had an idea of what it might be if something was going
