Idle Problems
Got another one for you guys. I was driving my 04 Ram 1500 Hemi and on the way home it started acting up. It won't idle at all. It will start fine but I have to keep my foot on the gas or else it dies. Anything else I should look at besides the usual stuff...fuel filter, plugs etc. Also is there any way to pull codes without taking it to a repair shop? I'm no stranger to repairing cars but I've never worked on a dodge before so any help u guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!!
Spark plugs, coils and wires obviously. Also change out the EGR valve and clean the back side of the throttle body. Resetting the PCM also could help.
As for pulling codes, go by any auto parts store and ask them to scan the truck for codes. Be sure to write them down and post them back here so we can help

You can check the codes by simply turning the key from the off position to the on position(not starting the truck) quickly 3 times and leaving the key in the on position the 3rd time and it will cycle and read any codes stored on the odometer line. If there are no codes it will say "done".
