i have a 03 ram 1500 long bed v-6. the motor went on it and i am thinking on trying to put in a v-8.what v-8s are compatible with this year truck and what all is needed.i have abuddy with a 03 darango with the v-8 and i can get the motor and harness and computer. any help would be appritiated.

 

You can upgrade to the 4.7 V8 or the 5.7 V8. It all depends on how much time and money you got. There are a few threads here from guys who have done both swaps
