I hope this is the correct forum. While sitting in the automatic carwash today, the MIL light comes on. Finally figured out how to retrieve on dash and I got following three codes in order:

1. S 116
2. , 281
3. C 447

This is the hemi 4WD, 170K miles -first time that light ever came on. Doesn't flash-comes on with ignition. Wondering what codes are and possible fixes as I have a 500 mile round trip to make tomorrow around noon.

I dont think those are codes that turn on a MIL. It looks like what you get when you do a instrument panel test.

You cycle the ignition key on and off 3 times to read the codes.

 

Or even better yet, go to an auto parts store and let them connect to the OBDii and scan ot for the real DTC codes. DTC codes are what you really need and will tell you what you need to know. Do that and post them back here so we can help you out
