I was on here and 1 other dodge forum yesterday looking at post about lowering with leaf spring clamps. There was a thread where a member lowered his red 2003 or 04 by moving the main leaf lower in the pack and using drop shackles. Now i cant find it! I know the guy had the truck wrecked and now has a black ram that is lifted. HELP!

 

hmm..never heard it done that way...the cheap ways iv heard of dropping are clamping leafs to overloads (did that, ride was boucy as heck)... or remove overloads..or remove overloads AND middle leaf and also using short shackles...

 

Yeah, usually they use a flip kit to move the entire leaf pack under the axle and drop shackles. Not sure that thread you are asking about though as there are lots of threads on lifting and dropping.
