Default Seafoam Trans Tune

So im having my tranny flushed tomorrow and I saw the can of seafoam trans tune for your transmission. Anyone else have any experience with this stuff?

Yeah. Don't use it.

I once used it in my 2nd gen and shortly after the trans blew. My tranny guy told me that stuff is awful for a tranny.

Not sure why, as the stuff people put in the motor seams to be a good thing. But he said never put it in your trans.

I have no specific experience with Sea Foam's transmission tune produce, it's more likely the flush is what killed your transmission. Lots of discussion on the forums about flushes dislodging "stuff" and clogging passages and valves.

Your tranny guy saved himself $3K.

Ok good to know. I was a little leery about it anyways. So i think ill just stick with the flush for now. and just use the seafoam for the engine because it does a great job there

Was this directed toward me? I never flushed the tranny.
