Default Borla exhaust

My new Ram Daytona has the Borla exhaust. Dodge lists the HP as 345, same as all 2005 hemi's. Is there no increase with the Borla? Is it all show and no go?

I really question all exhaust systems as to their real value...obviously free flowing tuned exhaust is a benefit but when you take normal driving into consideration I doubt that you gain a whole lot. If your under a heavy load or really tuning the tach. then you will see HP increases. Also Dodge is probably being conservative given CAFE and the insurance companies. If you get the chance jump on a DYNO @ 345 HP your rear wheel HP should be around 275-280. Just my thoughts and Borla sound is worth it benefits or not...

I believe the Daytona is rated at 350 hp. But on the Daytona it's a dual out so I think you lose some bottom end and gain it on the top. I put the Borla single cat back and I noticed it.It's alot revvier (if that's a word)
