Plus, when lowering it, I messed up one of the rear shocks, and just didnt put the front ones back. Sooooo, talk about a rough ride. The football buddies in the back hated that free ride

Now my opinion is the same of a druggie, the higher the better
LOL, LMAO, ROFL!!! I cant even respond to that description. No wonder you go for lifted trucks now. I would after having been scarred for life with that truck How did you see out of that thing. Another thing, you sound like a big guy so I guess you have an idea now of how sardines feel in a can, JK!

I have to admit i like your truck and am pretty jealous of those 26's. how much did they cost b/c i may upgrade my 22s in a couple years to something bigger, maybe not 26's. how bad is the ride though b/c i know its not gonna be soft

i paid about $3400 rims, tires, locks, mounted and balanced. as for the ride quality its not that bad... i have had a few trucks with 22's, 23's 24's(all 2 wheel drive!!!!!) and they all have a similar ride compared to my 26's. i have a 30 series tire on my 26" wheels when i had a 35 series on my last set of wheels which was 24's and it rides that same. i am extremly careful going over rail road tracks and fast food drives... also i dont drive this truck every day, i have a police inteceptor with stock wheels i use on my daily commute to work and to run errands. 24's are much cheaper and and realistic when it comes to replacing tires... about half the price of 26" tires. there are a few guys around my city with 24's on rams, so i had to do 26's to blow out the competition.

i cant imagine how it would look on a ram. they probably spent just $10G on tires alone. i do think that is a waste of a hummer. i kind of like it but hummer spends all of its research on off-roading and people ruin their hard work by doing that. on a 2wd street truck, thatd be a different story.
That's just silly! Hummers are supposed to be badass off-road vehicles. But it turns out that a Hyundai Santa Fe is far more superior to a Hummer in all off-road courses that they have put them two into competition at. I read it online a while back, if interested, you can try to pull it up yourself.

Very well put.

I'm still trying to save up to get some 26's as well...

Yeah, I just getting tired of people putting 22's and bigger rims on a Hummer. They bought the wrong truck to do this in. In fact, most people I see do this to their hummer. I guess its because theres not much else you can do since the hummer already has some big offroad tires stock (35")
You should get some black 26's and black the rest of the truck out. That would look sweet. I've always loved blacked out but since my truck came with chrome 22's, I though chrome extras would look better although I dont want too much chrome.

Ive seen plenty of 24's on dodge rams. In fact, after I bought my truck, I saw a quadcab at the dealer with the exact same style rims of mine except in 24's. That made me so mad. How much is it exactly for each rim/tire if you were to replace it? I dont know about you but I bought rim insurance. Its was $300 for five years and they replace any cracked or damaged rim. I think though that Im gonna get 305/45 tires when my 305/40 run out. Thats like an extra inch of protection and cushioned ride since i drive like a maniac-jk
23's, ive never seen those. they must be rare.
Did you get a new system to match the rims It has a lot of measuring up to do to compliment the rims.

check out his album. I saw a nice front view picture in there.
yeah, ive noticed too how everybody have been a jerk if the truck doesnt look like what they like. I try not to post any hurtful criticicm in my posts. For some people, their trucks are their life and they work hard and pay good money to put in what they like only to have everyone put down their truck. I just point out what I like about the truck.
If you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all. There are some exceptions to this rule if youre trying to keep someone from making a mistake that they will regret later.

if someone wants to put 26" rims on then they should..... if someone wants 30" rims then they should... its a matter of taste and unless its on a toyota... then we should be supportive.... personally I think 26" rims look sick as Fuc* on the hemi trucks.... I wish I could afford them.....

ooooh what if you put 26" rims with 54 inch boggers on them.... that would be sick as hell .... the rock climbers are using larger rims now because of the side to side pitch rediuction
