I have missing my key remote fob! can i reprogram a new fob remote in my Ram 3500 cummins 2004? I am in Italy and i can't go in a official dealer! Can you help me? ( p.s. My data pin connector is empty in pin 1!

 

If you still have a fob, you can buy and program a new one. Make sure the "FCC" numbers match. If you don't have a fob at all, you'll need a very up-to-date locksmith or the dealer.

 

I've heard that you can program a new key for the truck yourself, but it takes 3 keys to do so, otherwise the dealer has to do it. You need 2 original keys, and you can order a blank off ebay and take it to any hardware store to have it cut, then program it.

But if you lost one, then you need a dealer...Even ordering one from a dealer using the VIN needs to be programed to the vehicle...only thing the VIN in advance does is it comes with the cut pattern already...at least I know this for sure for an 01 truck..COULD be different now, but I doubt it

 

my dealer dont commercialize the truck series in italy... I hope them have a diagnostic connector for my truck!!
