Default Trouble starting

Get home from work go back out and truck wont start just clicks. Put a charger on it or jump it and it starts within 2 minutes and will work for a week no problems and then it will do it again. Hooked it up and it throws PO700 and Po526(low voltage...DUH..). Thinkin loose connection somewhere I don't know. Battery cables fine battery fine alt pretty new. 04 1500.

Go get a new battery or at least have it tested. If you got a volt meter then next time it does it, go get the meter and check the battery voltage. I bet you will fin d the issue is the battery and not the connections. Jumping it off doesnt fix loose connections. It fixes a dead battery.

My 02 1500 5.9 ram clicks and clicks and clicks before finally firing up. I turn it off and it starts right up no problem. Once it sets for a period of time the the problem returns. The battery is new and when it does start it starts really strong. Any ideas???

lucian - I'd say starter. you can check the connections at the battery and the starter, but it's most likely the starter itself. For $30 you could get a junkyard starter if you want to 'test the waters' first

Or you have a big power drain from something in the truck killing the battery over time

At least start with Weeds battery prediction, Rams are very finicky about their battery. Make sure your serpentine belt is OK and not slipping.
