Default Passenger side power windows not working

Truck is a 2005 2500 CTD QC SLT

Power windows work from the drivers controls but not the passenger controls. At first I thought it was a case of the faulty window lock switch but the drivers rear door works from the rear door switch. Is it possible for the faulty lock switch to only affect 2/4 doors?

I thought about pinched wires but what are the odds that the wires on BOTH passenger side doors would get pinched at the same time? Especially when the doors are barely used.

I know the switches did work before since I have had passengers in the truck before use the switches, it's only recently that the problem occured.

I've not heard of one of the windows working but not the other two. Sounds like wiring to me.

Yeah it's weird..both passenger side doors have the problem and both drivers side doors work fine.

Open up the drivers side control panel by prising it up gently, from the arm rest.
Unplug all the connectors and reseat them and give the wires a good "wiggle".
Then, try your rear passenger window controls.
I linked the very same problem you have, to a loose connector on the back of the drivers main control panel.
Hope this helps?
Al.

I had all sorts of strange window problems caused by a faulty master switch on my 2002 Ram QC. I replaced the master switch with one from a newer model truck (ebay) and all is good now. Definitely check your wire harnesses going to the switch like was already suggested.
