Hello everyone...New here, but not new to rams. Just purchased an 03 1500 quad long bed with the 5.9l, with one problem, won't go in reverse. Now, we bought it to pull our camper, so I plan to just replace the tranny (it has 177k miles...) instead of rebuilding(pretty sure its the clutches are shot in it, as it is starting to slip shifting from 2 to 3rd gear) Anyways, being that we pull a camper, I thought since we are replacing the tranny, what options do I have as to which transmission to put in? I don't want to have to change anything else out if possible. I have been trying to find an answer to this for a few days now, but no luck. Thanks to anyone who knows!

 

you'll be better served over in the second generation board, where others face your troubles on a regular basis..
