ok guys. I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, and I've searched high and low, but still dont quite understand fully. I didnt want to revive a death thread either.

So.....wanting to do the E- fan mod. Found a taurus efan already.

now, looking for a relay or controller. what do i need? ?

I live in Canada so my options are a bit slimmer I think, but there are enough canadians on here, that I figure someone knows.

I'm trying to do this cheaply, so buying a flex-a-lite controller for 150 bucks doesnt work for me.

I used the dccontrol unit. It wasn't cheapest or the fastest to ship, but it was pretty easy to install. I have had it on for a few months now and can't complain.

summit has a few. this is the cheapest one i coulds find and it is suppose to be good for up to 20 amp but i would probably still buy a relay. they are cheap enough
