I will try to make this explanation as short and to the point as possible.
2002 1500 Quad Cab
4.7L w/5 Speed trans
EXP:
I start my truck the first time for the week. This takes about 3 secs. of cranking. I drive it get it up to operating temp shut it off. Restart it 5 mins later this takes 3 secs of cranking. I go home shut it off, restart it 2 hours later takes 30+ secs. of cranking to start. I drive it get it back to operating temp. Shut it off restart 5 mins later starts in 3 secs. Shut it off for the night restart it 10 hrs later starts in 3 secs.
First start of week = 3 secs. cranking
0-45mins parked = 3 secs. cranking
2hrs - 8 hrs parked = 30+ secs of cranking
9+ hrs parked = 3 secs. cranking
This happens every time the truck sits for an 2 hours or more.
I believe it is an injector leaking, anyone know how to find out and if so how do I tell which injector or injectors it is?
Thanks
