Default position sensor in transfer case

Okay so now that it is nice outside I am going to change the position sensor in the transfer case.

Is there going to be some type of oil or anything that is going to come out or will I be fine?

No idea,
I got the vehicle about 10,000 miles ago. I haven't changed any of those fluid yet.
the vehicle has about 88,000mi on 2004.

I plan on doing the fluid all this summer while it is nice.. Trans, Axles, Brake, Power steering was changed out when i replaced the rack and pinion.

Gotcha. Click on the links below in my sig and download the 04 Srvc Man and look at page 14 to fluid types, capacities and other specs.
