i need help!!!

i have a dodge ram 1500 mega cab 2006 and my rear differential it's broke an i wanna know if i can put a differential of the 2500 or 3500 cuz my whells has 8 stud like the 2500 and 3500 and all the 1500 has 5

are 2 rear diffs in a 2500/3500 a 10 1/2" and 11 1/2", if your mega is a hemi and not diesel you should have the 10 1/2". as long as you find a 10 1/2" it should bolt right up.
