Default Dodge Ram 1500 question

I have a Dodge Ram 1500 slt. The ride is bouncy at higher speeds and pulls to one side. I just replaced the lower ball joints thinking that might be the problem because they were worn. I was thinking it could be the shocks, but did not replace them. The overhead console comes on sometime and other times it don,t. What could be making that happen.

Sounds like either the tires are out of balance and/or chopped worn unevenly. The shocks may also be bad but I would get the tires looked at first. The pulling is most likely an alignment issue. What do you mean the overhead console comes on, what kind of ram do you have 4x4, 2x4 and year?

Thanks for the reply. I have a 4x4 2002. It comes on sometime and sometimes it does not.

Sounds like there may be a short in the wireing to the consol or the consol it's self is faulty. That may be a bit of fun getting that fixed.
