2005 hemi ram intermittent starting problem
After the truck sits for about four hours or so it will crank but not fire up on the first try, but will after 2-4 tries. this is intermittent and not every time i go to start it. It will happen once out of every five attempts. champion iridium plugs have 100 miles, egr valve 250 miles, plug wires are original but in ok condition, k&n drop in cleaned and oiled 100 miles ago, engine does not miss at all while running, no CEL. while running fine i pulled the fuel pump relay and was able to duplicate symptoms but of course it did not start at all until relay was reinstalled. i suspect the fuel system is gradually losing pressure after its shut off and is allowed to sit. Im thinking fuel pressure regulator if equipped but am not sure how to proceed, any help would be appreciated.
